Quick Paper Crafting Fixes

It all happens to the best of us…we mess up when using a rub-on, we misspell a title with stamps, we tear or spill something on a lay out in progress!

Here are some of my quick fixes that might help you along the way!

Partially stamped images-

  • A easy fix if you are using acrylic stamps. But if you are using wooden stamps, re-stamp the image onto another piece of paper, cut out and affix over partially the stamped image with foam tape for a raised look.
  • Use colored pencils, pens or even glitter glue to fill in the missing parts. (more…)

When I first started scrapbooking, I accepted anything and everything that could be scrapbook related! I was not one to say no to free stuff! I even stocked up on supplies when I went to discount stores or encountered a scrapbook store sale!  But now that my style has evolved, I don’t use half of what I have. How to Host a Scrapbook Event

In June I posted an article on attending crops . Great if you are new to scrapbooking and interested in participating but not ready to host. But now, you may be ready to have a little get together of your own. Am I right?

I have a scrapbook group of my own, called  West Coast Croppers.  I started my group in January 2005 because I was newly interested in scrapbooking, and at the time, the nearest groups I could find were too far for me to drive (being a new Mommy).

I love to entertain, have friends over and play with paper. So why not make it a club? My main goal for my group was to create an environment where people don’t feel pressured to buy stuff,  learn new techniques and play with my tools and supplies.
