Easy school Lunches…Forever!

I have slowly been eliminating plastic bags and containers for food in my home.  I just don’t like the idea of  what goes into making plastic, with the possibility of leeching into our food. So I got a new lunch box for Dyllan. It is made from recycled food safe plastics.  They are lead, bpa and phthalate free. (more…)

A Upcycling Tote.

When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. Or in this case, turn a ugly tote into something a little more eye pleasing with $10 or less. Somehow I got assigned to decorate some totes for a upcoming scrapbook retreat. It’s a little get together for 6 of us and as a tradition, we all chip in to fill a tote with scrapbooking and craft supplies. Thus making our goody bags for the weekend! :)   When one of the girls bought these totes on line, she did not know they had a design. So she gave them to me to fix. (more…)
