Do you ever Day Dream in color? I do. I love to walk in my garden and visually take in all the pretty flowers. So many bright and vibrant colors! Once summer is over and fall settles in, I’ll be sad to see them go but look forward till next year when I can re-discover their innocent beauty and whimsical charm!

Some of my plants were late bloomers because the beginning of the summer here in California was cold and foggy, then it got super hot and not it’s perfect. In early spring I scattered by the handful assorted butterfly attracting flower seed mix into my already potted plants. And then just let them grow, surprising me with their blooms. I never knew what to expect!
It was so wonderful to see my everyday plants come alive with these short living treasures. Almost like walking into a secret Garden.
The above middle plant is my potted plumeria which has the most beautiful scent.
