Here’s a layout I made in less than 10 minutes! It’s really easy for those photo’s that you love but can’t quite make a page from them because there is no theme screaming out to you. Know what I mean? So you set those photos aside and find them from time to time. Placing them here, placing them there. You know where they are. Still no idea’s (until 5 years later), you get that “aha” moment! The key is to let your fingers to the talking. Before you know it, you are done! This lay out is the first of many I will show you.
I used brown craft card stock for the back ground and for the border, I just folded a full piece of paper in half (lightly) and began to free hand cut around the inside, saving the middle for my scrap stash. I had to thin out the top and bottom of my border with scissor to make the photo fit.
I placed adhesive tape at all four corners to hold the border in place while I used my trusty stapler to do the rest.
One lonely piece of blue scrap paper in my stash was all I needed to cut a loose half circle. I then glued this in place and from some white scrap paper, I first traced a “D” . This I cut out for the monogram letter.
When everything was in place, I used black pen to outlined the “D” making it stand out and then I free hand wrote the caption.
I used some stickers for the title and took advantage of the stapler to attach some fun paper brackets. And that’s it! Until next time, enjoy!

Love a speedy page Michelle – I dream of getting that confident!!!
Great idea how you have cut the frame and made the most of your paper – it is always a shame to hide it with photos or other cardstock.
Just looking through your recent blog posts. Good stuff! I’ll need to visit more often.
